Have you ever stopped to ponder why the Sons of God gathered in Heaven's Courtroom, in God's presence, with the devil also present?
Initially, I thought Job was the only victim of this, but a book led me to analyze what Jesus said to Peter when he opposed Jesus' death. Jesus said, "Satan has demanded (asked) to have you, to sift you like wheat" (Lk.22:31).
This reveals two things: the devil either accuses or requests opportunities to play his cards and gain leverage for accusations.
The Bible points us to two key aspects: the ministry of reconciliation and the art of intercession. We are called to be co-laborers with God, reconciling the lost. And learning from Jesus in Lk.22:32, He prayed for Peter, asking that his faith would not fail – this is the art of intercession.
Time is no longer on the devil's side, so he's working twice as hard. If you're not saved, the time for acceptance is now; the day of salvation is now. If you're saved, I pray that your faith will not fail. Stand firm in God, and He will uphold you. We cannot let the devil win!
